I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me with this trustedantivirus thing. I'm kinda outdated in terms of fixing computers, viruses, spywares and stuff so please bear with me, hehehe. thank you in advance

hello there
i''m not so good with hijackthis logs, but i can give you some advices regarding to trusted antivirus thing. you can remove it manually using these instructions : http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-trustedantivirus.html . it may look a difficult task to do at the first sight, but basically you only need to find the files trustedantivirus put there, and then delete them. every step on the instructions has a link to detailed explanation. for example there's a step "Kill processes:
TrustedAntivirus.exe" and it has a link to "how to kill malicious processes" tutorial. hope this helps.
if the manual removal of TrustedAntivirus looks too complicated, get an anti spyware and let it do the job. most majority of legitimate spyware removers are paid, but there are several free tools as well. you can download free anti-spyware here : http://www.2-spyware.com/compare2.php .

thanks for the reply, I tried the manual removal, I deleted the registry already, but the other files are not on my computer, tried searching it (included hidden files) but to no avail... but still, warning: security alert still keeps on popping up. |

hello again,
trusted antivirus is relatively new parasite as it appeared on web just two weeks ago, and it keeps changing so it's no wonder that you couldn't find some of its files. do you use antispyware? i recommend you to scan your machine with a reputable spyware remover.
