New system that I just got, and it was used; so there are some odd traces and weird files left on it. Aside from the adware I removed already I keep getting error codes and stray and random popup ads.
Basically I know there are things wrong, but I've never used the Hijack tool and am not sure how to read and/or fix the issues that show in the log. Or really even what they are.

please don't post several identical topics as the other topics created by you were exact like this one, i deleted them.
now let's get to your problem. error codes and pop-ups you've described are most likely displayed by trojan or corrupt anti spyware program. whatever you do, don't purchase nor download products advertised this way. before you start deleting thing with hijackthis, i suggest you try simple anti spyware. if you already have anti spyware on your machine, update it and run a scan. and if you don't, i recommend you malwarebytes anti malware.
