Ok. So my sister downloaded a copy of Juno and asked me to burn it for her. However, when I got on in order to burn it to a disk for her, I noticed some popups coming up with the heading "CiD: ...." So naturally, I began searching the web for "CiD." I find that it runs through a process called "service.exe." Naturally, I went into my task manager and killed the process. However, the popups continued. So I went in and deleted the actual file. After a bit of cleanup with Spybot and about 20 different HT scans, I'd figured my system was clean. However, today, I've been getting more popups. I've also looked into a bit of spyware called Mirar, because I noticed that that was the name of the company on the service.exe's properties. And I've also looked into DivoCodec, as it came up once on Spybot, and it's acquired through downloading an AVI file. So now, not only do I not know which one it is, but I also don't know how to remove it. Service.exe is no longer on my computer from what I can tell, and none of the other associated files with any of these spyware programs can be found, or any of the associated registries for that matter. This spyware isn't completely nasty, it's just a bit annoying. So, any help in the matter would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time. _________________ Peace & Love

And I've just come across something in my Add/Remove programs called PlayMP3z, that apparently bundles the Mirar toolbar. _________________ Peace & Love
