Hi, I am still having an issue with uncontrollable popups and general CPU slowness on my new laptop. I have full versions of Spyware Doctor and Norton Internet security however these do not fix the problems. I think this problem could have been caused by downloading ANYDVD HD. I posted a copy of my hijack this logfile below. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

hello again,
i strongly recommend running some other anti-spyware tool. your hijackthis log reveals there's some kind of hijacker, cos O13 - Gopher Prefix is changed and this means the infection, whatever it is, can redirect Internet Explorer to some website. unfortunatelly it's hard to tell what other items you should fix using hijackthis application.

Thanks for your reply. That's exactly what is happening, Internet explorer keeps getting redirected to other pages. I already have the full version of Spyware Doctor and that has not helped, so I will try malware bytes as you suggested.
