This the second time I got hit with this, I followed your previous instructions and had no homepage problems after that. I did a google search and visited some regular sites yesterday and booted up this morning a found I got it again.
Is there a way to permenetly delete this little #$&! Spybot sees the trojan and tells me the infected files will be deleted after reboot, which it does. I just disabled HompageBHO but can you check the log below cause I recognize some bad entries.

You were hit by SpyAxe. Once again. To get rid of it please do the following:
1. Download the smitRem tool. Upack its files to a chosen directory.
2. Launch Internet Explorer.
* Within it click on the Tools menu and then select the Manage Add-ons entry.
* This should open the add-on manager. Find the HomePageBHO add-on, select it with your mouse or keyboard and then check the Disable option located below. Press OK. This should disable the SpyAxe-related malicious add-on.
Use HijackThis to delete this entry:
O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - {e0103cd4-d1ce-411a-b75b-4fec072867f4} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpB69E.tmp
3. Reboot your system into Safe Mode. This step is very important!
4. Now run the smitRem tool (launch the RunThis.bat file).
5. Follow SpyAxe manual removal instructions. You have to delete the following files:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvctrl.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mssearchnet.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpB69E.tmp
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchosts.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ioctrl.dll
You also have to delete C:\Windows\System32\1024 directory (if it is present).
6. After you get done reboot your computer, run a HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.
As for SpyAxe prevention, please apply the most recent Internet Explorer fix (read more here) and read another post to learn more. Here is a fragment:

Followed instructions and ran smitram tool after booting in safemode. I did not remove any files but the hjt log is below. Now I cant get rid of the blue screen and my font is different, how do I get it back?

After following the instructions and deleteing the files I seem to have gotten rid of the #&*%&*@
Figured out how to get wallpaperback and font style as well,
