I am a computer engineer. Yesterday I got called to a client's house, where'd he'd fallen for this greeting card scam that's going round at the moment, and had got 672 viruses detected! Now, knowing a bit about the malware giving you false info, there was nothing deteced by AVG.
Another thing it did was connected automatically every 2 minutes or so.
Also, every time I tried to stop the process using Task Manager, it obviously restarted.
I decided to disinfect in Safe Mode, but when I tried to log in to Safe Mode, and then Normal mode again, the wireless mouse wouldn't work, even plugging a USB mouse in, wouldn't work!
He uses Windows XP SP2 with AVG Free 8.0, and Spyware Terminator

i think the win 32 file is corrupted badly.......
lots of downloading without scanning creates these type of situation.
i think the only option available to install new OS.
