Anyone know which programs will definitely (or most likely) get rid of AV2009? A friend of mine has it and is having a hard time getting rid of it. He says he's even taken his computer to professionals who have told him even they can't get rid of it most of the time.

I used a combination of Spybot, AVG, Autorun Eater, and Malwarebytes, plus some manual registry cleanup per the instructions here.

Just do formatting of your PC.
and then install new AVAST antivirus
