Good day to all!

I'm searching for info about removing Realplayer as I have read there is a vulnerability which could allow remote access. I don't use realplayer and want to get rid of the program to resolve this weakness in my PC's security.

I'm having trouble doing this!

On control panel there is no program shown for Realplayer so I can't uninstall from there.
If I go to all programs and check my program list, there is no realplayer link and therefore no uninstall option.

I have several Realplayer files on my PC which I don't know whether they constitute a danger or not and I can't delete them because when I try a message comes up "Cannot delete *file name*.exe:Access is denied. Make sure that the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use"

I've tried taking ownership of the files on the security tab but this doesn't work?!!!

Any suggestions? Any help offered would be gratefully received - thank you!!
