Post Post subject: I need help removing WinBlueSoft. Reply with quote

Like an idiot, I installed it and thought nothing of it. I followed the uninstall guides all over the internet. I deleted all the files and whatnot, but I still get this crap every 2-3 minutes.

As you can see, there's even another Security Center icon, which comes up with a bubble every 2-3 minutes also. If I happen to open that second security center, anything I click in it takes me to the WinBlueSoft pay page. I really can't figure out how to get rid of this. I've even run avast and it didn't detect it. I'm not usually one to run into virus/spyware problem for I don't download suspicious things, but I was an idiot with this.

Also, don't suggest a system restore because I can't do that. I know there's a way to remove the files that are doing this, but I don't know WHAT the files are or where they're even at.

Hi there,

use this removal guide: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-winbluesoft.html

There are not so many files to remove, but the problem is that it might be more than just WinBlueSoft. I mean there might be additional malware installed on your computer as well and the manual removal may not cover all of them. So, in this case I recommend you to download an automatic remover from the same link provided above. It will not only remove WinBlueSoft, but also any other related malware.

Good luck!

I actually figured it out. If anyone else runs into this, there's a file that installs called Setup2.exe. That's what was doing all that crap. Once I deleted it, everything worked perfect.

I'm glad that you managed to solve your problem Smile And thanks for the info, we'll definitely add Setup2.exe on malicious files list.
