Thanks for the instructions you posted at http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-spywarestrike.html. I had been working on getting rid of SpywareStrike for a couple of days and gotten rid of most of the components, but I kept getting the "Virus Alert" icon in my taskbar, and Spywarestrike kept installing itself. The problem file was C:windows/system32/netwrap.dll. It was hard to get rid of, because it kept running, even in safemode. I finally got rid of it by restarting in safe mode with a command prompt, navigating to the System32 folder and deleting it with the "del netwrap.dll" command. Thanks again for helping me isolate this problem and fix it.
