Thanks for all of the inofrmation in getting rid of Spyware Strike. It took quite some time to get the browser back to normal. It was set to "yoursecurity.com". When I would log onto IE, it would try to download the "gdnus2296.exe" file. I used Microsoft and Ad-aware programs to get rid of most of it. I still had to remove a bunch manually. My question is this, each time I turn the PC on, I receive an error message that "Repair" from Nortons is unable to install and I need to uninstall and then reinstall it. I am fearful of doing this in case this thing takes over the PC. Any help would be great.

Do you have any Symantec software installed to your system? If you do, I think that it is safe to uninstall and reinstall the program, which displays that error message. You can also post a screenshot of that message. It may shed some light on your problem.
