 Post subject: help to remove spyware strike and spyfalcon |

I have tried to remove these pests manuallyand I have downloaded ms beta program and I have run Adaware, and spybot. Still they persist. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, kathie. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!
Please follow these steps:
1. Download the smitRem tool and upack its files into a chosen folder.
2. Download the KillBox utility.
3. Navigate to Start > Settings > Control Panel and launch the Add or Remove Programs tool. Wthin the list of installed software find SpywareStrike and uninstall it by clicking on Uninstall or Change/Remove buttons. If there is no SpywareStrike entry, open the C:\Program Files\SpywareStrike folder and run the uninst.exe file. It is the uninstaller.
4. Uninstall KGB Keylogger in the same way as SpywareStrike. This threat is in the C:\Program Files\KGB Keylogger folder.
Please note that you shouldn't uninstall this program in case you use it and know about its presence in your system.
5. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

7. Now run the smitRem tool (execute the RunThis.bat file).
8. Use KillBox to delete the following files (if they still exist):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\replmap.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dxmpp.dll
9. After you get done, restart your computer, run another HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here. |

Hi, kathie.
Your last log looks clean to me. No signs of SpywareStrike or SpyFalcon  .
As for the KGB Keylogger, please restart your system into Safe Mode and use KillBox to delete the keylogger's main executable C:\Program Files\KGB Keylogger\winlogons.exe. The threat's folder should be visible while in Safe Mode. Delete it too. |
