I was wondering if you could have a look at my log. I know i have Spyfalcon somewhere as it keeps instaling on my comp. Most of this is way over my head but to be honest its annoying me and i just want my comp back to how it was. Also i keep getting all these warnings about a worm called "iworm_attck_v122.02a" and a antivirus program says i have a virus in my sysem32 folder called "dfrgsrv" but most likly a corrupt file. |

Hi, El. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!
Please follow these steps:
1. Download the smitRem tool and unpack its files into a chosen folder.
2. Download the KillBox utility.
3. Open the Control Panel and launch the Add or Remove Programs tool. In the list of installed software find the the My Web Search program and uninstall it. Although this product is not a malicious parasite, it includes some adware functionality and, therefore is not recommended.
4. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - {4da4616d-7e6e-4fd9-a2d5-b6c535733e22} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp7716.tmp
O16 - DPF: {FF3F0F03-0F01-131A-A3F9-08F02B23E0CC} - http://66.117.37.13/dba2296.exe
5. Now restart your system in Safe Mode. This step is very important!
6. Run the smitRem tool by executing the RunThis.bat file, which is in the tool's folder.
7. Then use KillBox to delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\dfrgsrv.exe
8. After you get done, restart your computer, run another HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here. |
