Winhound Registry entry Removal

Lucky Me.

.....Winhound found me Crying or Very sad

.....By using the manual removal directions found here at 2-Spyware.....I got rid of all the entries on my pc except for the entry made in the registry. The key entry made to \Local Machine\Software doesn't want to be booted....I emptied all of the dword values from the 3 folders, but the folders themselves will NOT remove..........any suggestions as to what I need to do to get rid of them?......thx very much

Hi, onttrucker. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!

Please follow these steps:

1. Download the RegDelNull tool.

2. Extract its files into a chosen directory or to the root of the main hard disk (C: ).

3. Now launch the Command Prompt (Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt or simply type cmd in the Start > Run... tool and press enter).

4. Navigate to the RegDelNull location (a certain folder or C: ).

5. Now invoke the RegDelNull tool with additional options:

regdelnull.exe HKLM\SOFTWARE -s

Press enter. RegDelNull will display the following message:

Null-embedded key (Nulls are replaced by '*'):
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WinHound.com\WinHound\WinHound\License*
Delete? (y/n)

Press y. This will remove the above key.

6. Launch the Registry Editor and delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WinHound.com key. You will not get any error messages and the WinHound entry will be completely removed.
