Hi, rainbowpridegirlie.

Please follow these steps:

1. Download the smitRem tool and unpack its files to a chosen folder.

2. Download either Pocket KillBox or KillBox utility.

3. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch =
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - <default> - (no file)
O2 - BHO: Nothing - {7a932ed2-1737-4ab8-b84d-c71779958551} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\hpFEB3.tmp (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: SecurityToolbar - {736b5468-bdad-41be-92d0-22ae2ddf7bcb} - C:\Program Files\Security Toolbar\Security Toolbar.dll
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [vmo] C:\WINDOWS\vmo.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll (file missing)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll (file missing)
O18 - Protocol: msnim - {828030A1-22C1-4009-854F-8E305202313F} - "C:\PROGRA~1\MSNMES~1\msgrapp.dll" (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: keXX32 - C:\WINDOWS\

4. Now restart your system in Safe Mode. This step is very important!

5. Once in Safe Mode, run the smitRem tool by executing the RunThis.bat file.

6. Then use Pocket KillBox or KillBox to delete the following files (if exist):
C:\WINDOWS\System32\dfrgsrv.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\stickrep.dll
C:\WINDOWS\vmo.exe
C:\Program Files\Security Toolbar\Security Toolbar.dll

Also delete the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Security Toolbar

7. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.

P.S. Your system is not up-to-date! You have to install Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Windows XP and Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Internet Explorer. Also apply all latest updates and security fixes.

I didn't have any of the listed files in step 3. And I try to delete the files from step 6 but Killbow says it cannot delete dfrg.srv.exe. Please advise! Thx!
