 Post subject: Spyware Strike still here! |

Hi, I followed all of the instructions for manual removal. The virus is gone but now the installers still show up during scans. It removes them but somehow they keep coming up. I ran HIJACK THIS and this is a copy of what it found. Also, whenever I reboot a Norton Antivirus error comes up. A program attempts to install but is stops because it says that Nortons does not have REPAIR. It suggests to uninstall and the reinstall. You guys have been so helpful. Thank you.

Please follow these steps:
1. Download the smitRem tool and unpack its files to a chosen folder.
2. Download either Pocket KillBox or KillBox utility.
3. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

4. Now restart your system in Safe Mode.
5. Once in Safe Mode, run the smitRem tool by executing the RunThis.bat file.

I ran it all like you said. I asked Killbox to find the 2 files and they were not there. I rebooted and ran Hijack again. Here are the results:
