I need an anti-spyware program for my home machine. Friends suggest ewido security suite and Aluria spyware eliminator. Which is better? I want to keep only one of them.

I would choose ewido security suite, because it is a popular anti-spyware recommended by many security experts. But Aluria Spyware Eliminator is also good. Both programs are more or less even, although based on different spyware detection and removal approaches.

Btw, I think you should give a try to other spyware removers. Spyware Doctor, Spybot SD and Microsoft AntiSpyware are very powerful apps. 2-spyware says that etrust PestPatrol is also good. I never tried it, because I'm satisfied with Spyware Doctor and Adaware SE, but I think you should ;].
