AntiSpyware Soldier

Most of you reading 2-Spyware.com News should be tired of endless SpywareQuake-like infections. But malware makers just won’t give up. They bake more and more corrupt spyware removers illegally installed to victim computers by widely spread trojans, through malicious advertisements and via numerous exploits.

All these infections are almost identical. A rapidly spreading parasite, a trojan or malware, infects thousands of systems around the world. On each of them it continuously displays the same system tray icon, which shows a message saying that the compromised is infected with dangerous spyware parasites and asking the user to purchase an anti-spyware program, which actually is a corrupt illegally distributed product. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

This time it is a new rogue that has already hit a lot of PCs. Its name is AntiSpyware Soldier. It is a twin of Spyware Sheriff and Titan Shield. It is also a clone of SpyAxe, Spyware Strike, Spy Falcon, Spyware Quake, SpyHeal and VirusBlast.

AntiSpyware Soldier is promoted by the same named trojan responsible for fake system tray icons, bogus alert message, web browser hijacks and stealth installs of other malicious threats.

Our initial prognosis is not very promising. We believe that the new parasite will become as much prevalent as some of its predecessors (SpyFalcon, Titan Shield) are. So beware! Avoid AntiSpyware Soldier at all costs!

We already provide Antispyware Soldier manual removal instructions. Detailed removal guide will be available very soon.
