It is possible to state and it is not a secret that Microsoft is a monopoly. Yes, nowadays this company has some competition, but it is too minor for such giant as Microsoft.
The main reason of Microsoft’s becoming a monopoly was that Windows didn’t have perspective alternative. This reason let Microsoft to hold power in its hands. Why people prefer Windows? There are a lot of opponents of Microsoft’s monopoly which actively invites PC consumers to use products of other companies and stop monopoly’s dominion in the matket.
Nevertheless plenty of charges that Microsoft’s actions are illegal, we can see that exactly Microsoft assures some stability for PC users. There is relation between this company’s products, what lets us to be rather safe about their work and this makes easier for us to use these programs. What is more, in the world where technologies progress is developing so fast, Microsoft always offers the newest production for users’ comfort.
