Recently, the 2-Spyware.com research team has retested all major anti-spyware programs including well-known, popular products and completely new applications, which have appeared only this year. Updated anti-spyware comparison table is the result of this hard work.
The winners of new comparison are the same well-known spyware removers: Spyware Doctor (first place), Spy Sweeper (second) and CounterSpy (bronze medal). There are three newcomers on the list: Windows Defender (Beta 2), SUPERAntiSpyware and ewido anti-malware. All these programs are very effective in spyware detection and complete removal of widely spread parasites.
New anti-spyware comparison is not the only update. We are proud to present you completely new comparison of free anti-spyware programs. Only absolutely free products have been tested. However, it must be noticed that only 5 free tools we know are reliable and effective enough to be recommended for daily use. Other free spyware removers are quite fair, but still not as powerful as popular commercial anti-spyware programs are.
