   Hello, nice to see you in 2spyware forum.

   Sorry about this annoying program, which has already managed to initiate various problems for many PC users..However, you CAN uninstall it, try using these steps:

   1. Open your IE and go to Tools -> Manage Add-ons -> Toolbars and Extensions. Remove Certified Toolbar. Note that you may find more than one add-on installed, so remove all of them!
   2. Choose Search Providers -> Live Search search engine -> Set as default. Additionally, remove Web Search web search provider and close the window.
   3. Finally, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> Use default button (you can also enter your own website, such as google.com instead of search.certified-toolbar.com. Click OK to save the changes.

     Thanks for your advice but it did not appear in Tools – Manage Addon’s not did it appear in Add Or Remove Programs either. I don’t know what has happened but by accident I have just used the 64bit of ie8 and Certified-Tool bar was not there anymore. I have since gone back to the32bit ie8 and it has gone from there as well! Thinks why? The main thing is a has gone but how do I prevent it happening again?

   as I am unable to follow your instructions for removal as in Add or Remove Programs Certified Toolbar is not listed or remove Search.certified-toolbar.com from my browser as it not listed.
   I am using Internet Explorer 8 & Windows 7 Home Premium. Please help me
