Need your help to erase FBI Virus!
I recently was attacked with the FBI virus. It is running on both my admin user account and the gueat account. I have tryed to run Kaspersky but it will not allow it to run. I used the Kaspersky Rescue Disk ( which told me to update the files) but when I tried to update a “Bad Gateway” message appeared and I could not update. I have tried to enter Safe Mode but cannot get in. I have powered off the machine and turned it back on and the Desk top showed up briefly but I could not access anything before the screen was locked. I downloaded Malware Bytes onto a thumb drive and put it in but it did not show up on screen. I have Malware bytes on my computer already (free version) but I cannot access. Can you help me?
Sincerely, Builderman

Hello! By curiosity I was on a few websites that I probably should not have been on, and my computer was blocked. I got 48 hours on me to pay NOK 1000, – for the blockages should cease. This would be paid from the same page and I was suspicious. I did not think I had done anything illegal, but was unsure. I thought this was suspicious because it would be paid from the same website. I am not a good computer user on this Is it possible to explain in understandable terms how I use Spy Hunter to get this block is away? Now I know that I should stay away these pages. Thank you!

LikeDislikeHello Builderman, nice to see you on 2spyware forum.
First of all, you should know that FBI virus keeps upgrading, so you may have been infected with a new version of this virus. Try these options that have been working with the latest versions of FBI virus:
1. Restore your computer’s date to the previous time. Some FBI virus versions can be disabled by doing that.
2. Try to deny the Flash. Just go to Macromedia support and select ‘Deny’: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help09.html.
3. Follow these steps:
1. Restart your computer, press F8 while it is restarting
2. Choose safe mode with networking
3. Launch MSConfig
4. Disable startup items rundll32 turning on any application from Application Data;
5. Restart your computer again.
7. Scan with http://www.2-spyware.com/download/hunter.exe to find the file and remove it.
Here is a full FBI virus removal guide including a video, which shows how to eliminate this threat.
