In your FBI Virus manual removal procedures, you list registry key that show a value of ‘0’. I have some of the same registry key, but mine have different values … 1 or 3 even a 5. I’m confused by the instruction about deletion. Do I delete the registry entry only if it matches exactly, or do I delete the entry in it’s entirety no matter what the value is?
Thanks for your help.
Before you delete these entries, you should scan your computer with updated anti-spyware and make sure that these registries are malicious. For that we recommend using FortectIntego; STOPzilla or Malwarebytes. Beware that those who create such viruses as FBI virus use almost identical files names to legitimates ones so that they could hide them and prevent their removal. So, there is a huge possibility that these registry keys are safe.
Good luck!
