In most of the cases, Funwebproducts is spread on the Internet using a method, which is called 'bundling'. In other words, it can enter computers as a 'free addition' or 'component' of other free applications. So, when thinking about Funwebproducts infiltration, you should definitely think abour the recent freeware (PDF Creators, download managers and similar applications) that you might installed on the sysrem recently and uninstall it from there. After that, we recommend scanning the system with one of these programs: FortectIntego; STOPzilla or Malwarebytes.
Finally, don't forget to change your browser settings back to normal if they were altered by this virus:
Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer, go ‘Tools‘ -> ”Manage Add-ons’ -> ‘Toolbars and Extensions’. Here, look for unknown entries and click ‘uninstall’. Now open IE once again and click Tools -> Internet Option -> General tab. Enter Google or other address to make it the default start page.
Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’ and find unknown entries that can be related to FunWebProducts. Click ‘Uninstall’. Now open Mozilla Firefox once more, go to Tools -> Options -> General -> Startup and select ‘Show a blank page’ when Firefox Starts or set a certain website, like Google or similar.
Google Chrome:
Click the Chrome menu button on the Google Chrome browser, select Tools -> Extensions. Here, look for unknown extensions and get rid of them by clicking on the Recycle Bin. After that, choose ‘Manage search engines’ and change the default search engine to google or other and delete Qone8.com from the list.
