Hello Mark999, thanks for asking on 2spyware forum.
Mostly, FunMoods is categorized as an adware or browser hijacker. This program is capable to change various settings on victim’s computer, so there is no wonder why your homepage is replaced by funmoods or similar website. In order to remove this program from your start page, follow these steps on each of your browsers:
In Internet Explorer – Go to Tools and then click Internet Options. On General tab, click Restore to Default
In Google Chrome – click on the Wrench icon (top of browser), then go to Options and on Basics tab select your default homepage setting.
in Mozilla Firefox – click the orange “Firefox” button on the top left then click Options. On General tab, click Restore to Default.
We also recommend scanning your computer with decent anti-malware and remove infected files from your computer. Try using one of these tools: Spyware Doctor, Malwarebytes Antimalware, Spyhunter.
It is very hard to fight Computer parasites alone in internet space. If you have a website we would be more than happy if you would help us to spread the knowledge about latest threats. You can help your
visitors to manage their Computer system manually without aditional expences. Knowledge is the power, we just need to spread it.
