Hello,
I have some troubles with Incredibar. It seems there is no an easy way to remove it.. there is no such program in add/remove program list. Can anyone help me to delete Incredibar? I’m using Firefox as a default Browser.
thanx in advance

First of all, remove Incredibar via add/remove (uninstall in windows 7) feature in Control Panel. You may also need to uninstall applications that come bundled with Incredibar, usually freeware converters, etc. Then open up Firefox and go to Add-ons manager. Remove add-ons and extensions associated with Incredibar. Finally, Incredibar may change your default search engine provider, simply open search engine manager and remove Incredibar from the list.
I beleice I can fill in some of the details in Rodi's message.
I am using Windows XP and Firefox. I also installed Internet Explorer.
I came across a sub folder in the IPrograms Installed folder. It was called,
INCREDIBAR TOOLBAR FOR II(nternet) E(xplorer)
I used the Add Remove Programs in the Toolbar to remove that subfolder.
I have also downloaded FOXIT. They recommended the same thing. Remove FOXIT then reinstall it from the official site.
Again using the Add Remove Programs in the control panel.
Now the bad news. I red somewhere on the web that there are also secondary infections. I do have melwarebytes and I used to check my hard drive. It found quite a few infected files. I asked it remove those infected files.
Good luck and keep me posted.
