Help… My computer got infected with Fantom ransomware. I have no idea how to remove it from my PC. The virus is called Fantom, I think because it displays huge letter FANTOM on my screen. It says that my files have been “encripted.” Please let me know how should I delete this virus from my PC? I don’t really care about the files, I don’t use computer too often.

Fantom ransomware virus is a severe threat to your computer system. We assume that it has already enciphered all your files. Ransomware-type viruses encrypt data with the intention to make them inaccessible to the computer user, and then ask to pay a ransom. Typically, files are encrypted with military-grade encryption algorithms, making sure that the user won't be able to retrieve these files for free. This is how cyber criminals make money these days. However, the fact that not many ransomware victims agree to pay the ransom puts us at ease. We do not recommend you to pay the ransom as well.
If you do not care about your files, then remove Fantom virus with the help of the guide given in this article - Fantom ransomware virus. How to Remove? (Uninstall Guide). We recommend using FortectIntego or SpyHunter 5Combo Cleaner programs for malware removal.
