Acer laptop vulnerability fixed

Acer released a patch that fixes critical security vulnerability recently discovered in ActiveX control shipped with all Acer laptops. All Acer laptops manufactured from 1998 to 2006 have a flaw that allows attackers to gain unauthorized access to the system and control it remotely via the Internet. If you own an Acer laptop, consider installing a patch as soon as possible, even if you do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer for daily surfing. More...
