888bar is an Internet Explorer toolbar that provides links to certain search engines, gambling and entertainment web sites. This application does not carry any destructive payload. However, a lot of widely spread parasites and advertising-supported programs install it without user knowledge and consent. 888bar runs every time the user launches the web browser. It is able to update itself via the Internet.
