Abwiz, also known as Lager, is a trojan that gives the attacker remote unauthorized access to a compromised computer. It also collects system information and sends it to a predefined web server. Abwiz has the ability to update itself via the Internet. Once executed, the parasite installs its files to the system directory (C:\Windows\System, C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Winnt\System32) and modifies the registry, so it could run on every Windows startup. Abwiz is a high security and privacy risk. It must be eliminated immediately.
