AdsInContext is an illegal advertising program that downloads commercial advertisements and displays them in Internet Explorer windows. It drops its files into the system directory (C:\Windows\System, C:\Windows\System32, C:\Winnt\System32) and randomly named folder located in the Windows default temporary folder (C:\Windows\Temp, C:\Winnt\Temp or C:\Documents and Settings\[User]\Local Settings\Temp). It also modifies the Windows registry, so it could run along with the web browser. AdsInContext is able to update itself via the Internet. It is related to adsincontext.com domain.
