Adtest is a browser hijacker that changes Internet Explorer default home and search pages and redirects the user to undesirable web sites without asking his permission. Adtest can get into the system while visiting some insecure Internet resources. It automatically runs on every Windows startup.

Adtest modifies essential configuration file of Windows 95/98/ME systems. Open the win.ini located in C:\Windows\System or C:\Windows\System32 folder and delete the following line:
run=C:\Windows\msfiles.exe

intnets.exe, scridows.exe, sysinfer.exe - C:\Windows\System, C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Winnt\System32
