Advanced Security Tool 2010 is a rogue security program that use deceiving methods to trick you into thinking that your computer is infected with viruses. This fake program is from the same family as Security Central scareware. It's promoted mostly through the use of Trojans, fake online scanners and other bogus websites. Once installed, Advanced Security Tool 2010 will pretend to scan your computer for malware and display a list of infections such as Trojans, spyware, worms and other malware. It will prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove the infections. In reality, though, the scan results are totally false. So, obviously it won't remove any infections simply because they don't even exist on your computer.
