Advanced Spyware Detect is yet another rogue anti-spyware application. The main purpose of this rogue is to scare the user with bogus security alerts or scan results and to convince him to buy Advanced Spyware Detect. This parasite only pretends to be a functional application, actually it is absolutely useless. Usually, AdvancedSpyware Detect is installed without user's knowledge through the use of Trojans. It might be also downloaded manually from various untrusted websites. However, last-mentioned situation is less common.

Once Advanced Spyware Detect is installed and active, it performs various malicious actions. At first glance, it acts like a normal security application.
