This freeware RAT was created using C++ programming language in February 2002. The author is TomKat. RAT programs are often used by hackers to get remote access to user's PC. The functions of such spyware may vary, from simple monitoring, to obtaining a full control over the system, allowing the intruder to delete files, steal passwords, and do a lot of other nasty things with your machine. There most recent ways of getting such a "nice" program are the File and Print Sharing ability and e-mail. When trying to infect the computer through the e-mail, the trojan can be masked as some useful program, convincing the user to run it.
