AIMVision is a backdoor that gives the attacker unauthorized remote access to a compromised computer. Once executed, the threat installs itself to the system and notifies the intruder using an instant messenger. It allows the attacker to remotely control running AOL Instant Messenger, steal AIM passwords and account details. AIMVision automatically runs on every Windows startup and whenever the user executes a file with the .exe extension.
