Animoo trojan spreads through Windows exploit in animated cursors handling. People get infected just by visiting certain websites that transfer cursor icons to a computer. After getting on a computer trojan tries to download and run more malwares. Following software is vulnerable to this exploit:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1)
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6/7
- Microsoft Windows XP Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook 2003, Microsoft Vista Mail
