I have all the correct tools to get rid of this malware doctor, but it blocks ANYTHING i try to boot up or turn on. It reports it as a trojan trying to attack my computer. Is there another method around this madness?

I'm trying to get rid of this bugger from my Windows. Just out of curiousity, HOW did all of us get that in the first place? Where did that come from? I'd like to take prevention measures.

I did a search in C:/ for
Antimalware*
and it returned this file called MpRTP.dll and it's found in C:Windowswinsxsx86_security-malware-windows-defender_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_579306edb982ae36
Do you guys think it's dangerous?
28. by <Guest>. 2010-08-04 14:08:40
the virus must have changed or something, because half the file names are different, and there is no hookdll.dll file.
29. by <Guest>. 2010-08-06 11:08:45
i got this when visiting tvshack.cc - also having trouble with removal because I think I have a more advanced version, it won't let me open task manager or perform any of the functions necessary to perform these steps.

On Vista SP2 I can open TaskManager and stop the process. Only that there seems to be a new version out and the process name is newsecureapp70700.exe. Registry entries still under 'Antimalware Doctor Inc'.
