AntiSpySpider is a rogue anti-spyware program - a fake spyware remover, which pretends to be a legitimate program. AntiSpySpider makes it's way to the system by using trojans, such as Zlob and Vundo. Crucial to AntiSpySpider's success is it's campaign of disinformation: AntiSpySpider floods the user with many annoying popups and fake system notifications to "inform" him that he is infected, which in fact he is not. The goal of this parasite is to intimidate the user into buying the "licensed version" of the program, which can supposedly remove the malware.

AntiSpySpider doesn't use a legitimate payment system and by browsing through it, a link to Files Secure - another rogue scam - can be found. AntiSpySpider is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block AntiSpySpider.com using your HOSTS file.
