Antispyware Vista is classified as a rogue anti-spyware because it uses false scan results and misleading advertising in order to trick you into thinking that you are infected with malicious software. This fake program is promoted through the use of Trojans that display fake security alerts claiming that you are infected and that you should download and install Antispyware Vista in order to protect your computer from malware infections. This fake program may be also distributed on popular social networks. Regardless of the method, the main goal of Antispyware Vista is to trick you into thinking you are infected and thus you purchase the software. Don't buy it! Instead, please use the removal instructions below to remove this virus from your computer as soon as possible.

Once Antispyware Vista is installed on your computer, it will be configured to start automatically each time you log on into Windows. When running, the rogue program will scan your computer and report numerous malware infections that cannot be removed unless you first purchase the program. The scan results are false, so you may easily ignore them. While running, you will also see a fake Windows Security Center screen that recommends that you purchase AntispywareVista. Furthermore, this fake program will constantly display fake security alerts and notifications from Windows task bar claiming that your computer is baldy infected or that your important data can be deleted. Last, but not least, Antispyware Vista will hijack Internet Explorer and block legitimate antivirus programs as well as certain security related sites.
