AntiVirGear is a rogue anti-spyware program released on September 13, 2007. AntiVirGear spreads through browser security holes and/or trojans, such as Zlob. This program uses scare tactics, such as falsified reports and system notifications to get users to buy the full version.

AntiVirGear is a scam and should be treated as such : do NOT download or buy it, if you have it - remove it and block their website with your HOSTS file.
