AntiVirProtect is a clone of SpyShredder, which classifies it as a corrupt anti-spyware application. SpyShredder is an extremely dangerous corrupt anti-spyware parasite, and AntiVirProtect is not better. In fact, it is even worse. AntiVirProtect may seriously damage your system and scare you into buying its full version as well as giving out your credit card info.

The main ways of AntiVirProtectinfection are trojans and browser security exploits. Once it installs itself onto your system, AntiVirProtect starts harassing you with countless popup notifications in hopes of tricking you into purchasing its full version. Moreover, AntiVirProtect may install other malware on your PC, thus further damaging your system.
