Go to the registry, do a search for ACMru and delete the folder and all
it's subfolders. there are lots of shits there
149. by . 2008-11-19 09:11:23
what do u do if youv'e paid for it and they dont provide you with an accurate phone number or email to contact them with. It really sucks,
150. by . 2008-11-17 08:11:22
disregard the msconfig statement, after a day it was fine but now its back. Ugh.
151. by . 2008-11-17 08:11:47
I also found that if you just run MSCOFIG and kill the anti-virus startup you will then be able to delete the folder after you complete one restart. I havent seen a trace since then.

no need for any removal tools. simply restore the system before the date it was infected. it worked just fine in my case.
153. by . 2008-11-16 18:11:57

So, is AnitVirus 2009 actually a virus?
Because I downloaded it and every 3 minutes or so a popup would come up. And you can't uninstall it, either. So, thank you for this thing to help uninstall it :)

Why can't these thieves be prosecuted, or at least have their credit card merchant account cancelled? They can't be too hard to find; I'm shocked that some po'd sysadmin hasn't unleashed hell on their servers...come on people, a little vigilante justice is in order for these clowns...
