The virus just hit me and i went to PC Tools and found Spy Doctor, but I'm still not sure if that is a valid application to help delete/remove the antivirus pro 2010 virus. it's so hard to tell what's read and what's not???

I downloaded Microsoft Defender onto another machine and copied across the network to install on the infected pc, all gone :) Thanks for the pointers

many thanks for the help with this. i got the antivirus pro 2010 from a sports website and it was wrecking my head. just a shame that you cant take any action against the people who created and spread this stuff. once again, thanks for the help

How do you find the dlls to unregister them?
I've read read teh guide on how to unregister them, but not on how to find the dlls.
Anyone who ran this, can you help?

I used the Instructions to Remove Antivirus Pro 2010 . Perfect manual removal!

i downloaded malwarebytes to remove the virus, but the virus blocked malwarebytes from installing on my computer. i restarted my computer in "safe mode," and then i was able to install malwarebytes which finally got rid of the stupid virus.

I have tried all options and yet it is still holding on. Every time I restart the computer, Antivirus Pro 2010 restarts itself. Any more suggestions if AVG 8.5 does not kill? OS is XP.

Computerul imi spune ca este infectat , windows-ul mi-a detectat infectie spyware,iar apoi imi apare Downloads Antivirus Pro 2010 .Ce trebuie facut pt a rezolva aceasta problema ?
