AntivirusBEST is a rogue security software, fake spyware remover. It was created by the same group of scammers who have released Anti-Virus-1 and Anti-Virus Number 1. Like many other similar programs, this one is also distributed through the use of Trojans, fake online advertisements and malware scanners. Usually, these Trojans and fake malware scanners state that your computer is infected with malware and that you should download and install AntivirusBEST in order to clean your computer. However, all these infections are fake. The rogue displays these infections only to scare you into thinking that your PC is compromised.

While running, AntivirusBEST will supposedly scan your computer and display a list of non-existing infections. The rogue claims that all these fake threats can be removed only with the registered version of AntivirusBEST. However, this program is a scam. Don't purchase it regardless of what it tells you.

To make things even worse, AntivirusBEST will constantly display very annoying security alerts. These alerts are also fake, so can safely ignored. Some of the fake alerts that may be displayed by AntivirusBEST:

"AntivirusBEST Privacy Violation alert!
AntivirusBEST detected a Privacy Violation. A program is
secretly sending your private data to an untrusted internet
host. click here to block this activity by removing the threat
(Recomended)."

"Spyware activity alert! Spyware.IEMonster activity detected. It is spyware that attempts to steal passwords from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Outlook and other programs, including logins and passwords from online banking sessions, eBay, Paypal."

What is more, Antivirus BEST will install an Internet Explorer BHO module. This Browser Helper Object will display this warning: "Internet Explorer has found an unregistered version of AntivirusBEST. To protect your computer, please register your AntivirusBEST."
Antivirus BEST may also redirect your Internet browser to various malicious websites and noticeable slow down your computer. The rogue program will display a Blue Screen of Death and state that your computer crashed because of malware called Malware.Monster.DX. Antivirus BEST will also modify Windows HOST file adding several fake review web sites.
