Title: AntivirusPro 2009
Also known as: AntivirusPro2009, Antivirus Pro 2009
Type: Malware
Severity scale:AntivirusPro 2009 severity is 89  (89 / 100)

AntivirusPro 2009 is fraudulent application. The scam uses the same old tricks mastered by other rogue security tools. AntivirusPro2009 is installed by trojans you get when installing fake video codecs or software from malicious websites. Once inside your machine, Antivirus Pro 2009 starts loading security reports and offers deleting malwares for $49.95. AntivirusPro 2009 definitely won’t remove a thing because it is a malware itself. AntivirusPro2009 is capable of installing other computer parasites on the infected system. It is also able to hijack web browser and open Antiviruspro2009.com instead of websites you want to visit. It may be difficult to use a computer normally as AntivirusPro 2009 constantly loads pop-ups and error messages telling you that you must buy full version of AntivirusPro 2009.

Antiviruspro2009.com clearly represents a scam. All the text on the website is the same three sentences repeated many times; some sections of page don’t work at all. There is no information about creators, only praises of AntivirusPro 2009 capabilities.

Antivirus Pro 2009 won’t function as anti-virus no matter how many times you pay for it. It is a scam and it should be deleted as soon as possible. Avoid this application and block antiviruspro2009.com using your HOSTS file.

One thing I feel its worth mentioning, the installer popup won't disappear until explorer.exe is restarted.

Thanks for this though, really helped me a lot.
