Also known as: Antivirus Trigger, AntivirusTrigger 2.1, Antivirus Trigger 2.1
Severity scale:AntivirusTrigger severity is 83  (83 / 100)

Antivirus Trigger is newer version of recent VirusTrigger malware. It may also present itself as AntivirusTrigger 2.1. As Virus Trigger is a corrupt application, you shouldn’t expect much from AntivirusTrigger. It is distributed by trojans (usually Vundo) and via infected downloads on various websites. Needless to say, reputable anti-viruses don’t spread this way.

AntivirusTrigger may appear to be a legitimate security program. It scans a computer; it reports detected infections and potential security risks. However, none of the reports is true. Antivirus Trigger reports either nonexistent or harmless files as infections. Other security messages displayed by AntivirusTrigger are falsified too. Antivirus Trigger 2.1 demands purchasing full version of the software for deleting the fake threats. Do not trust it and do not spend your money for nonfunctional application.

Antivirus Trigger is not only fraudulent, but it is also extremely annoying. It loads plenty of pop-ups and system tray alerts.
