This RAT program is presented as a shareware tool that can help computer administrators to control their local network. But a quick inspection of the product advertisement leaves no doubt, that this is a RAT program. And it can do some serious harm, once it falls into the wrong hands.

"Anyplace Controlâ„¢ allows the user to remotely control any computer, running under the Windows system (95 98 NT 2000 XP 2003) in the TCP/IP network. The user can see a remote desktop on his/her own screen and use the mouse and keyboard to control the connected PC.
Based on client-server architecture, Anyplace Control comes with two applications: client application (Admin Module - shown on the picture below) and server application (Host Module).
The program allows:
to display the remote computer screen on your screen in real-time
to use the keyboard and mouse to control the remote PC from anywhere
to perform important operations remotely: shutdown, reboot, etc."
