If you enter Windows in security mode you can access msconfig and disable the virus from running in the start of Windows. This way you wont be bothered by popup messages and you can restart Win in normal mode and eliminate the virus with your favourite anti-spyware/virus software.

I installed Antivirus software in safe mode(press f8 during startup) and then rebooted normally. The Antivirus started up automatically and then caught the virus and pc was fine afterwards.

If I can't get to the internet, I can't get process explorer. If someone with this virus is looking at this page, it's probably from an uninfected computer. Is there another colution?

I have Spybot installed on my computer. When I rebooted my computer, I was able to load spybot before the virus kicked in to do its evil. Spybot was able to start its scan before the virus block it as well.

Download Microsoft Security Essentials, it is completely free and very highly rated, I downloaded it and installed it and right when i hit scan it found the virus and deleted it. Took about 5 minutes total

tried rebooting my computer after it had this issue---now it wont even boot up---any suggestions???

I try to use Process Explorer and other antivirus programs, but they're blocked as well.

I am stuck!! I cannot open my task manager and I cannot open the Process Explorer.exe file once I save it to my computer. How can I get rid of this thing?!?!?!
