Usually, ArmorDefender comes from fake online scanners and must be manually installed, but it may come bundled with other malicious software too. If wee assume that this virus came from fake online scanners then your PC is infected with at least one Trojan virus that displays this ArmorDefender rogueware. Another quite annoying thing is browser hijacking. The rogue program redirects users to entirely different websites, usually scam websites that re full of false information and at the end may infect your PC even more. One of such websites is armordefender.com [Figure 2]. It's supposedly a home page of ArmorDefender. Don't visit that website even knowing that it doesn't host any harmful files.
